(OOC; I hope this explains the plot a bit, because I've mixed up a few things to have some fun on Battalion. Wooo! In the mean time, I should get typing. )

When The Elite Gaurd received word of the 'destruction' of Spacebridge Repair Ship A.r.k, Codename 'Omega', and the 'disappearence' of Elite Gaurd Blurr, as well as a full account story of the battle over the Spacebridge, Ultra Magnus finally came to a descision to bring a team of mixed skills - old and young warriors, quick scouts and craft but intelligent scientists to Earth to protect the Dispersed Allspark. As the Autobot population on Earth quadrupled as the best of the best come to fend off the Decepticons from the Allspark, turmoil breaks out on Cybertron.
The Decepticons have taken the chance to invade and capture Cybertron from within while the Elite Gaurd is off-planet. It is only a matter of time before this ragtag team of bots become the only ones who can save Cybertron from the clutches of Megatron. Autobot Forces on Cybertron are swiftly destroyed or captured - old scenes from before and during the Great War become a new reality as the Final Battle Begins.

(So, what has already happened is the first paragraph - Ultra Magnus has decided to bring a team of battalion proportions to Earth to help Optimus Prime's crew, and to protect the Allspark. They were unable to leave because the Allspark is still dispersed throughout the city of Detroit - there are even new robots arising from their old lives as mere human contraptions to... heroes, perhaps?

What is yet to come is in the second paragraph. The Decepticons take the opportunity, what with The Elite Gaurd absent and only a small force of peacekeepers remaining, snatch up and ensnare the planet. Will the Earth Autobots be able to get home before all is lost?)
